What a new iPhone generation does to last year’s decision

September moves resale and refurbished prices. The structure of that shock is predictable even when this week’s chart is not yet long enough to index.

A new iPhone generation is a discontinuity, not a smooth depreciation curve. Last year’s model does not lose a little each night in September; the market reprices it when the successor exists.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 are successive in our catalogue. Price-history pages stay noindex until we have enough days and enough merchants. Until Awin programmes accept us, we will not draw a chart from an empty series.

The wait outcome is registered and currently ineligible: we will not invent a "wait until October" window. When a sourced wait window exists, that evaluator can turn on without changing the pipeline.
